It's FREE... Begin using this web interface from your Mac or PC to create custom Webclips using your own photos! You'll then proceed to your iPhone to add your new Webclips.
Be sure to follow these steps carefully for best results...
Step 1 - Upload a low resolution jpeg or png from your computer to the Photo Cropper below, click the Photo Cropper's Browse button to locate an image on your computer, then click the submit button to load the image into the Cropper window. After your photo loads in the Cropper window, click somewhere on the image to use the red cropping tool to crop the region you'd like to use for your Icon (Webclip). *Advanced users, skip to Step 3, upload any 57 x 57 pixel jpeg or png.
Step 2 - Within the Photo Cropper, click Download from the small preview menu that appears just below your selected crop region. Save this cropped image file to your computer (be sure there are no spaces in the file name, and keep the name simple). This will become the image file that you'll now upload in the next step.
Step 3 - You're now ready to use the interface that appears like an iPhone. Type in a Name, Link and then Browse your computer to the image file you saved from the previous steps. Then click the Submit button. Follow the steps on the next page and be patient as we process the image.
NEW TIP! - iPhone users: Make a quick dial webclip. Easily add a custom webclip icon (ie; photo of face) and then link it to a phone number for quick easy dialing from the home screen. Just replace "http://" with "tel://" then add the numbers you'd use for dialing. For example: tel://0005551212 There are other URL schemes too, try "sms://","facetime://","Youtube://", "fb://profile/XXXXX" (XXXXX is the profile I.D.) will open a specific persons profile.
